the specific needs of structured wiring systems.
UNI-TOOL Cable Link is provided with a library
of specific symbols for this type of systems
and with specific commands for their correct
design.

wiring systems
Structured
wiring systems are considered by experts as
the main application field of the future.
They consist of a single and integrated system,
by means of which it is possible to transmit
all of a company's information, regardless
of their source, destination or typology (audio,
data, images, signals, alarms, etc.). Structured
wiring systems can be totally compared to
any other in-plant system, and for this reason
they require very attentive planning, installation
and maintenance.
A
design tool
With
UNI-TOOL Cable Link it's possible to generate
the system schematic directly starting form
the room planimetry.
The student can place symbols taking them
from the available libraries, then he can
define the users' connections: data, audio,
images, electrical system, alarms.
When the system design is ready on the planimetry,
it's possible to start the distribution cabinet
design. The provided libraries contain specific
symbols representing all kinds of 19" rack
distribution cabinets with several sizes.
There are also other symbols representing
the 19" rack distribution cabinet features:
optical fibre panels, hubs, hot swap panels,
RJ45 UTP 16/24/32 I/O panels, RJ45 STP 16/24
I7O panels, telephone strips. Size proportion
is maintained.
